The Trigon Armament extended magazine release button is the first product in our branded accessory line up. We wanted to design an extended mag release button that was one piece, easy to hit in high stress or low visibility environments, and didn’t have the typical extended button wiggle. To accomplish this, we made the actual pad larger, and textured to reduce slip with gloves. The body of the magazine button is also larger diameter to fit tighter in most mil-spec lowers . We designed this as a one piece unit to eliminate screws, pins, etc. as possible failure points.
The magazine release button is one of the most frequently used parts on your rifle. It should be durable, easy to find, and not add additional failure points.
**We recommend removing the bolt catch for installation as this makes it easier to spin the magazine catch enough for proper magazine engagement**
